Includes Digital Banking with a tool to track Savings Goals! Your school-age child will learn better money habits if they are taught earlier. Understanding how to make a savings plan and achieve it will help their financial confidence!
 

Age 13 and up

Credit Union Checking Account
  • Learn financial responsibility while managing a Debit Card.
  • Open a Cash Back account to teach real-world financial skills.
 
Includes Digital Banking with a tool to track Savings Goals! Whether they have their first job or are saving for secondary school, setting your teenager up with tools that will guide them in their financial choices is paramount.
 
 

Pay Day for A’s 

Hard work pays off, literally! We are celebrating students hard work with our Pay Day for A'$ program. Students with a CHROME account are invited to bring in their report card and earn $2 per A! 
 
Requirements to start earning:
  • Student must have their own savings account with CHROME FCU. If they don't currently have an account, we can help you set that up!
  • Students in Kindergarten through 12th grade can earn $2 per A, up to $40 per school year.
  • To redeem rewards, student must visit a CHROME branch and show their report card.
 
Students under 18 are eligible to open a CHROME minor savings account with their parent as joint on the account. Students 13 and older are also eligible to open a Cash Back Checking account. Both accounts are a great way to get students thinking about finances and setting healthy habits early!

Students can participate in this program for current and future grading periods. The reward must be redeemed during the report card period. Once new grades are released, prior grades cannot be rewarded. Program is subject to change.
