What is Kasasa® Cash Checking?
Kasasa® Cash Checking is a high-yield checking account that offers 6.00% APY* on monthly balances up to $10,000 and 0.05% APY* on balances from $10,001 and up. Your account also qualifies for ATM refunds of up to $25 per month, 2 when you meet your monthly qualifications.1
How do I qualify for dividends?
You will automatically receive dividends when you meet all account qualifications during the monthly billing cycle, including a checking account balance of up to $10,000, at least one monthly direct deposit, Bill Pay transaction, or ACH transaction, a minimum of 12 debit card purchases per month, enrollment and at least one monthly log in to online banking, and enrollment in e-statements.
Is there a minimum balance requirement for Kasasa® Cash Checking?
There’s a minimum opening deposit required of just $25 to initially open a Kasasa® Cash Checking account but no minimum balance to earn cash back rewards each month.

1Kasasa Cash Checking: Membership eligibility required. To earn the 6.00% APY on balances up to $10,000, account qualifications must be met during the monthly cycle. Balances of $10,000.01 and over will earn 0.05% APY if all account qualifications are met during the monthly cycle. There is a $25 minimum deposit to open an account. No minimum balance is required to maintain the account. At least one monthly Direct Deposit or ACH debit/credit or Bill Pay transaction, 12 debit card purchases per month, enrollment in online banking, and enrollment in e-statements are required for this account. There are no recurring monthly maintenance charges or fees to open or close this account. This account is not to be used for commercial purposes. If the account is closed, you will forfeit any rewards that have not been credited to your account. Advertised information and rewards are based on all account qualifications being met during each cycle period.

2You will receive reimbursements up to an aggregate total of $25 for nationwide ATM withdrawal fees incurred within your Kasasa Cash or Kasasa Cash Back account during that Monthly Qualification Cycle. ATM withdrawal fees are reimbursed based on estimates when the withdrawal information received does not identify the ATM withdrawal fee. If you have not received an appropriate reimbursement, we will adjust the reimbursement amount if we receive the transaction receipt within sixty (60) calendar days of the withdrawal transaction.

3Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the payer's submission of deposits. We generally post such deposits on the day they are received which may be up to two days earlier than the payer’s scheduled payment date.

5Kasasa Saver: Advertised 2.00% APY available for balances up to $100,000 and over cap will earn 0.05% APY if all account qualifications are met during the monthly cycle. A Kasasa Cash or Kasasa Cash Back account is required to have a Kasasa Saver account. All qualifications must be met on the Kasasa Checking account to receive advertised dividends on Kasasa Saver.
